What did it take to make a sword in Iron Age Britain? Using techniques from 2500 years ago, archeologist Emma Harrison and professional bladesmith Tom Timbrell will recreate an Iron Age sword. They will smelt the iron in a furnace, layer the metal to give it strength, harden the blade and fit the handle to create a modern masterpiece. Suitable for all ages.
