Guy Walters is a historian who lives in the Chalke Valley. The writer of ten books, his approach to historical events and figures is both iconoclastic and engaging. Whether he is targetting Simon Wiesenthal or the Great Escape, he is renowned for backing up his work with exhaustive archival research. He is currently finishing his doctorate on neo-Nazi plans to establish a Fourth Reich in the 1950s. A former commissioning editor on The Times, he now writes regularly for the Daily Mail, and is also a prolific commentator and broadcaster.
