Christian Lamb
Centenarian Christian Lamb was a WRNS plotter at the height of the Battle of the Atlantic in which her husband captained a destroyer, the first to ram a German U-boat. Later she worked on secret invasion maps alongside Churchill in Whitehall. Following the war Christian became a plantswoman and author. She has written four books since the age of 80 and a fifth during lockdown called Beyond the Sea, her first memoir in which she focuses on the war years and life at over 100 following her second pandemic.
