Archaeology continues to captivate audiences both young and old, and as scientific technologies allow us to say even more about the past, it has never been as popular as it is today. With innovations in practice have come new ways of thinking and we are delighted to be joined by TV presenter and ex-Time Teamer Raksha Dave and Operation Nightingale’s senior archaeologist Richard Osgood to discuss the exciting new avenues that archaeology is taking us down. Not only does the study of our material past continue to provide us with new stories, but with proven benefits to well-being and social cohesion, it can be a force for good and a medium through which diverse and contested narratives can be brought together.
